Having spent a large part of my career working in the sector, I felt that apart from reading endless CSCI (governement) reports, there was no easy means of getting an idea of what a care home was like without actually living there as was the case in the featured report. My hope is that over time, we will begin to generate many more reviews of care homes so that when shortlisting a number of homes to visit, potential residents and relatives can do so based on the views of those already experiencing them, rather than just hoping for the best.
